THE KOALA CONSERVATION PLAN
The Australian Government has been promising a national strategy to save koalas from extinction for five years. Meanwhile, because of excessive deforestation, koala numbers in NSW have plummeted in to below 20,000. Now, NSW koalas are on track to be extinct as early as 2050. It is because of this that WWF-Australia asked independent experts to write the plan for the government. Now, here is the first independent-of-government national strategy to save koalas in Australia ever! The government needs to read it and act upon it. Have your say to save our precious koalas.
