EARTH HOUR
Thank you for taking time out for nature this Earth Hour on Saturday March 25, 8.30pm local time.
Thank you for taking time out for nature
To celebrate Earth Hour 2023, we called on all Australians to sign up to switch off and join a worldwide community of millions taking #TimeOutForNature. We needed to take time out for our planet. Our environment continues to degrade at an alarming pace. Eastern Australia is among the 24 global deforestation fronts, and we are the only developed nation on this list. An estimated 200,000 trees are bulldozed in Australia every day. That’s 8,000 trees every hour. Trees are the lungs of our planet, and we need them to help reverse the impacts of climate change. Earth Hour is the time to press Pause and work together to protect nature and restore what we have lost. Thank you for taking #TimeOutForNature this Earth Hour.
Join us as we take you to incredible locations across Australia!
